From conceptualizing your photo shoot to advising which photographs would look best above the mantle, booking a memorable photography experience from me is made to be seamless and enjoyable for us both!

Allison (or better known as Ally) is a media artist with a background in photography, video production, and traditional art. She holds a degree in Media Arts and Studies (with concentration of Video Production) and is currently based out of Olive, NY in the mid-Hudson Valley and the Catskills and will travel to Westchester, NY and NYC, as well as around the globe. She has travelled abroad extensively and volunteers her video and photo expertise for passion projects she cares about.

my shooting style

My clients often appreciate my direct, engaging, and dynamic approach to direction. If you haven’t posed for a camera before, I am always happy to take the reins, tell you my favorite poses, and direct you every step of the way. If you have ideas and we’re really flowing, I’ll take a step back and capture you exactly as you are - we love the candids after all! I’m looking for the small details that will make your shots amazing.

Every client is different and I pride myself in meeting others where they’re at. If you are more quiet and reserved (and perhaps a little camera-shy) I will meet you where you’re comfortable. If you are excited and raring to go, I’m right there with you! I love to know your specific intentions before we start and will do my best to include all of your creative ideas. I excel with young, active toddlers and will get them moving and grooving within minutes of our shoot. I’m very pet friendly and have 20+ years experience with horses and always have dogs and cats around. They’re more than welcome at our shoot.
